Suretest-E Test And Procedures

Test Name Procedure
RPM Insert test bur, attach to motor, turn on cooling air turn on water, turn motor on & gradually increase speed to max. (40K / 200K on Suretest-E)
Current draw @ 60k to 200k RPM Turn motor on to 40K / 200K, run the motor(alone) and record the amperage reading from the gage on the unit. Attach handpiece and repeat, recording the second reading. Subtract the first reading from the second, this equals the handpiece current consumption
Free run time Run for 30 to 45 sec. w/no load, then check for any heat build up on and around the head & neck areas
Cooling air & water Required to properly test handpiece
Audible test free run & under load Check for vibration and running noise after radial & axial loading for both clockwise and counterclockwise operation. When loading axially, the clamp collar must not touch the press button. Touch to inspect for heat.

When loading axially, the clamp collar must not touch the press button. Touch to inspect for heat. Touch to inspect for heat.
